How do I create a Foundation email template?
In Foundation, rich format Email Template can be built to communicate with the foundation donors. An extensive menu of tags allow the template to be personalized to include donor name, pledge and donation amount, donation date, campaign name, campaign chairperson, etc…Communication can then be sent using these templates and targeting donors of a specific campaign or donors during a specified date range.

- From eBroadcast main menu select Foundation Templates
- Click on Add to start creating the new template
- Select the Type of template desired (Donation, Donor or Grant)
- Enter a Template Title
- Enter a default Subject (subject can be edited when using the template)
- Create the email Template Content:
- Content can be simple text
- Insert Tags (data elements) from the list of tags where desired
- Insert Images if desired
- Select additional formatting
- Once the template is created click on Submit to Save
- To see how the created template generates into an email use Send Test Email
- If edits are needed select the template, make edits and click on Update to save any changes
