The line spacing seems wrong in my templates.
Hold the Shift + Enter will add one line only.
Between Paragraphs the proper spacing is Shift + Enter twice.
If your current template looks to have too many lines between paragraphs:
1. Go to the front of paragraph that is too far down
2. Use delete to bring it up into the paragraph before it and then press Shift + Enter twice.
If your signature line has too many lines between it, use delete to bring it up to the next line and Shift Enter once.
The reason you use delete and bring it up to the line before and then use Shift Enter is that the spacing can look correct to your eye in the template but can still be off in the code and look wrong to the recipient.
